ISABELLE ARMAND Filmmaker Cinematographer Writer

Isabelle Armand is a New York–based documentary photographer and filmmaker whose work interweaves photography, film, and oral testimonies to explore the complex layers of people whose histories, lives, and potential have long been undervalued.

Her acclaimed book Levon and Kennedy: Mississippi Innocence Project (powerHouse Books, 2018), which documents the wrongful convictions of two men, has received wide recognition. Her images are held in the collections of the Brooklyn Museum, Akron Art Museum, and Portland Museum of Art. Armand’s work has been featured in The New York Times, Art in America, The Economist, The Daily Beast, and others. She recently completed her first feature documentary, Glendora.

ANNE SUNDBERG Consulting Producer

Annie Sundberg is an award-winning filmmaker based in New York City. She is currently in production on a new project about youth and media, and in post on The Nutcracker at Wethersfield, a feature documentary starring dancers from the New York City Ballet.

Annie’s films and television projects have been twice shortlisted for the Oscars, and earned 2 Peabody and 17 Emmy nominations among other honors. Her production company Break Thru Films is home to a variety of projects including multipart series for Netflix, CNN and Sundance/AMC. Films include: Khartoum (EP, Sundance Festival 2025); Here To Climb (HBO 2024), My So-Called High School Rank (HBO 2022), Reversing Roe (Netflix); Marathon : The Patriots Day Bombing (HBO); In My Father’s House (IFC); Burma Solider (HBO); The Bengali Detective (HBO); Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work (IFC/Showtime); Knuckleball! (Showtime); The Devil Came on Horseback (NatGeo); The Trials of Darryl Hunt (HBO); One Survivor Remembers (HBO) and the narrative feature Tully(Sundance). She is a member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, the DGA and the Television Academy.

TAMIRIS LOURENCO Editor and Co-writer

Tamiris Lourenço is a Brazilian editor who holds a Bachelor's degree in Cinema and Audiovisual from Universidade Federal Fluminense and also graduated from the Cinema Darcy Ribeiro film school in Rio. In 2013, she began to work with well-known Brazilian editor Jordana Berg, eventually becoming an editing partner. She also worked with distinguished U.S. editor Shannon Kennedy and was her co-editor on “Maya and the Wave” (Stephanie Johnes, 2022). Her experience includes films awarded at International festivals around the world, such as “Últimas Conversas” (Eduardo Coutinho, 2015), “Cine Morocco” (Ricardo Calil, 2018), “Legítima Defesa” (Susanna Lira, 2017), “Our Land Our Freedom” (Meena Nanji and Zippy Kimundu, 2023), "The Invisible Victim" (An upcoming Netflix release), "The Quiet Diplomat" (Charlie Lyons, 2024), and many others. She lives in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

TOM PAUL Sound Designer and Sound Mixer

Two-time Emmy Award winning Re-Recording Mixer and highly regarded Sound Designer, Tom Paul is one of New York City's most sought after talents in the field of postproduction audio. The last few years have been filled with supervising and mixing the sound for many wonderful films including "American Symphony", "Little Richard: I Am Everything", "Hustle", "Love Has Won", "Pretty Baby", "The Vow" and "Y2K" to name just a few. Some notable titles of his early years in production sound include: Trust, The Wedding Banquet, Eat Drink Man Woman, Little Odessa, Swoon and The Yards. Some early highlights of his sound design and re-recording credits include the Academy Award winning films The Fog of War and Born Into Brothels. Other notable films include: Junebug, Palindromes, The Baxter, The King, and U2 360, the largest selling concert DVD of all time. Tom won a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Mixing on Joe Berlinger's Under African Skies, and another for Best Sound Editing on Cartel Land. He continues to push the boundaries of immersive audio at his custom-built Atmos Studio, Som Vivo, in Red Hook, Brooklyn.

ALEX LAVIOLA Post-Production Coloring

Alex Laviola is the founder of Cut + Measure - A boutique post production film company located in Dumbo, Brooklyn. After starting his career at The Criterion Collection, Alex moved forward in the world of post-production film by building lasting relationships and connecting his clients with elite talent within the world of creative post, growing Cut + Measure each year for nearly 10 years. He has served as producer on multiple feature films and has seen numerous films and series reach the festival circuit, distribution, and beyond. Alex also is a proud donor to the Ghetto Film School.

CEDRIC VON NIEDERHAUSEN Colorist

Cédric von Niederhäusern is a Brooklyn based colorist and photographer. He has worked on documentaries, narrative films (shorts and features) and branded content for web and broadcast. He is the colorist of Ascension, which has been awarded Best Documentary Feature at Tribeca and was nominated for an Academy Award.
